Hi class, think about what you have learned so far this week about the bubonic plague, the cholera epidemic, and the Spanish flu epidemic. What about these pandemics has surprised you the most? Which do you think would have been the most terrifying to face, and why? Are there any lessons we can learn from these pandemics when it comes to ensuring we are prepared for future pandemics? Finally, the clips we watched reported that the pandemics actually paved the way for various positive social changes. Can you think of any positive changes that have resulted from the Covid 19 pandemic?
