The Three Minute Thesis Competition -- Hana

I was interested in Holly Bates Williams's topic. Because I couldn't come up with connection between wildlife tourism and the gap between social media & reality by my self. However, she made a slide clear with An illustration and graph. Unfortunately, It was too hard to understand most of it, but I thought the issue that she find about gap between social media & reality and the idea of bridging with wildlife tourism were the result of studying her and how she managed her study.

I think Arung Giha Mayapada was the most effective communicator for me. Because I got impressed by her speaking intonation. I usually speak in a flat intonation because I feel nervous to speak English  and I don't have enough confidence to what I'm saying. But she spoke with falling intonation and rising intonation clearly. I realized that doesn't makes me bord. Also, at the most important point, she said ''Once again'' and said the point confidently. I felt that she was trying to tell us her strong opinion.

What I gain from this session are to speak confidently and clearly about what I researched and speak my opinion as strong as possible. To do it in front of many people, we need to be brave. From the next time, I need to research carefully and clarify the points.
