An Event that Marked my Transition from Childhood to Adulthood -- Hana

When I was a high school student, my mind and actions became like those of an adult.

In high school, I was in a modern dance club. When I was in a third grade, I encountered a difficulty. I had to teach what to do to junior members, but I 'm always taught what to do by someone else, so I’ve never thought that what to do in practice. The members who were as same age as me had their own role and they were desperate to do their work so I couldn’t rely on anyone. That made me nervous and stressed.

To overcome this difficulty, I took videos of dancing and wrote down notes about club member's dancing everyday after the practice. For example, ''This choreography's count are different depends on the people'' or '' This position' shape is strange''. From that note, I could analyze calmly what we should do on the next day. Such as ''Her position should be more left'' or '' We should review the count for this part''. Before I started to take notes, I needed thinking time to decide what we should do, but since I started taking notes, I could use that thinking time to practice so practice became more efficient. Also, I became able to think and share my opinion more confidently because I looked at students around me and analyzed the circumstance carefully.

From this experience, I became able to look at a surroundings and analyze what to

do next carefully. That made me more confident to making an action and more

independent. Before I became a oldest grade, my mind was still like a childhood

because I made an action depend on the people around me, but after I experienced

thinking and make action by myself, I could look at the surrounding and made

action like an adult. That was experience that changed me from childhood to

 adulthood.

Moreover, I also think that being well-prepared and taking time to observe, to write everything, to think of fixing are necessary and effectively efficient. I believe that you grew a lot after this experience. Thanks for sharing with us <3
